How to Check Whether a Patient Has Logged into Their Portal

TouchPoints.health allows you to see whether a patient has accessed their Patient Portal directly from the patient profile.

Viewing patient portal login activity
To check a patient’s login activity, open the patient profile by clicking on the patient’s name anywhere in the platform.

On the Demographics card, you will see a button labelled Summary of Patient’s Login. Selecting this will display an up to date time log showing when the patient has logged into their Patient Portal.

This is useful for confirming whether patients have been able to access their portal and view shared information.

Checking whether documents have been viewed
Any documents that are shared with a patient are also tracked within the patient profile. Until a document has been opened by the patient, it will be shown with a red circle.

Once the patient has read or viewed the document, the circle will change from red to green, providing a clear visual indicator of patient engagement.

If you have questions about patient portal access or document tracking, please contact support@touchpoints.health for assistance.
