What is Healthcode

Healthcode is a UK based healthcare clearing service that enables private clinicians and clinics to submit insurance claims electronically to medical insurers.

Healthcode is widely used across the UK private healthcare sector and supports efficient, standardised processing of insured patient billing.


How Healthcode works with TouchPoints.health
TouchPoints.health integrates directly with Healthcode, allowing you to create and submit insurance claims from within the platform.

To use Healthcode via TouchPoints.health, you must have an active Healthcode subscription and be registered with Healthcode’s clearing service. TouchPoints.health does not provide the Healthcode subscription itself.


Healthcode subscription requirement
Healthcode operates on a subscription basis. Clinicians or clinics must subscribe directly with Healthcode to access their clearing service and insurer connections.

Once your Healthcode account is active, it can be linked to TouchPoints.health to enable electronic submission of insurance claims.


What Healthcode is used for
Healthcode is primarily used for:

  • Submitting insured patient claims to insurers

  • Managing insurer billing workflows

  • Reducing manual paperwork and claim delays


Getting set up
If you already have a Healthcode account, contact support@touchpoints.health and the team can assist with connecting it to your TouchPoints.health account.

If you do not yet have a Healthcode subscription, you will need to register directly with Healthcode before it can be used within TouchPoints.health.
