How to mark a letter/document as reviewed (Clinician)

How to log a document review (Clinician)

TouchPoints.health allows clinicians to formally review documents and letters that have been flagged by PAs or administrative team members, ensuring clear accountability and an auditable workflow.

Where to find items awaiting review
On your homepage, you will see a To Review card. This card is divided into two sections:

Letters
This shows letters you have dictated that are awaiting your approval. A red number indicates how many letters are pending review.

Documents
This shows documents that have been uploaded by the administrative team and marked for clinician review. A red number indicates how many documents are awaiting your attention.

Email notifications
You can choose to receive an email notification each time a new letter or document is sent for review.
This can be enabled or disabled using the email toggle in the top right corner of the To Review card.

How to complete a review
To review an item, click the Review button in the action pane. This will take you directly to the relevant letter or document.

For documents, you will see options to:

  • Log a review

  • Create a task

Logging a review confirms that the document has been reviewed. Creating a task allows you to assign follow up actions if required. Completing either action finalises the review.

What happens after completion
Each time a review is completed, the corresponding red number on the homepage is automatically updated. This provides a real time view of outstanding and completed reviews.

If you have questions about reviewing documents or managing your review queue, please contact support@touchpoints.health for assistance.
