What are Documents

Documents in TouchPoints.health are a central repository for forms, information, surveys, and media that you may wish to share with patients. This includes documents such as consent forms, information leaflets, surveys, and videos.

Where to find Documents
Documents are accessed via the bottom hidden bar in the platform. Selecting the Documents link opens additional options at the top of the screen.

From here, you can upload consent or request forms, upload or link videos, create surveys, and upload information leaflets or other supporting materials.

Using Documents with patients
Documents support a wide range of file formats and can be securely sent to patients via their Patient Portal. This makes them particularly useful for sharing patient information leaflets, educational videos, or pre and post consultation surveys.

All documents that are shared with patients are recorded on the patient timeline, providing a clear audit trail.

Document tracking and visibility
You can see whether a patient has viewed a shared document. The document outline changes from red to green once it has been opened, helping you confirm that patients have received and reviewed important information.

Why Documents are useful
Documents help ensure patients are well informed while keeping all information secure and compliant. They also reduce reliance on email attachments and provide visibility over patient engagement following consultations.

If you have questions about uploading or sharing documents, please contact support@touchpoints.health for assistance.
